Competition time!!! Win a bespoke typographic print...

This week we have been running a little competition on Twitter to win a personalised typographic design from More Than Words.

The winner will be entitled to an unframed 30 x 30cm print which will be designed using up to 20 words and colours of their choice.

To enter the competition, Twitter followers must re-tweet our message about the competition and follow us on Facebook and Twitter. The winner will be selected at random (via a posh excel tool!) and announced on Friday 17th June.

Once the winner has submitted their bespoke words and colours, the design proof will be sent via email within 5 working days and, once signed-off, will be lovingly printed and sent out within 14 working days.

What's been going on in More Than Words World?

Goodness, we've had all sorts going on. So much so that I've neglected one of the most important things...keeping our lovely blog up to date! So here's a little round-up of what we (I!) have been up to....

New Stockists

We hadn't considered going down the stockists route so early on but, after being approached by some fab companies, we decided to start offering some of our products through lovely boutique online shops 'Lily and Lime' and 'Swings and Pretty Things'. Both sell exclusive designs and you can even spy a few of our bespoke pieces on NotOnTheHighStreet.com.

After being contacted by the lovely ladies at Gift Wrapped and Gorgeous we also decided that their dynamic approach is refreshing and that our products fit in well with their brand, so we now stock a few items on http://www.giftwrappedandgorgeous.com/

Bespoke Designs

Our bespoke vintage framed canvas has been a real hit during wedding season but has been equally as popular for children's designs and for our 'memories theme'. We've been lucky enough to have had a few orders following the fab write up in the LoveMyDress blog!

I've also been busy designing several framed prints to be offered as wedding gifts, many capturing wedding readings or poems from the bride to groom (and vice versa). The reading below is beautiful.

Oh and we've also had quite a few requests for one of our newer items, the personalised Union Jack canvas.

Limited Collection

Watch this space for more designs coming soon. My little teapot (A Nice Cup of Tea) and 'Marilyn' have been very popular this week!

Gift Certificates

This week we launched our beautiful boxed gift certificates, ranging from £25 to £240, redeemable against all bespoke and limited items. Offering one of these unique boxes makes sure that the recipient still has a little present to open and they can then be involved in creating their personalised piece of art, or selecting a limited design. Perfect to offer in celebration of a birthday, wedding, anniversary, Christening...!

Proud that much of our business still stems from word of mouth and we've had a great response from lovely followers on Twitter (follow us here!). Have been approached by another wedding magazine so looking forward to seeing ourselves in print again soon!! Exciting stuff and proud of what we've achieved so far!

Yesterday we received more lovely press about our 'vintage style framed canvas' with a fantastic feature in the fabulous Wedding Ideas magazine.

Under Gift List News, as 'Gorgeous new gift ideas'...our ornate bespoke canvas (don't forget it's also available for all of our other themes, not just weddings!) is loved by the team at WI as "a unique way of capturing your special day...perfect for occupying pride of place in the newlywed nest."

So pleased that this special design is doing so well. Don't forget, for something uber contemporary, this particular frame also comes in black.
